![]() After that, I was able to set the drag/drop and copy/paste settings back to checked under Isolation, and everything seems fine. Windows recognizes when I'm hovering over a UI element. The Apple Boot-camp driver does however support right-click and 2 finger scroll. Until Apple or VMWare produce a driver that does support this functionality it will most likely not happen. Now Windows doesn't recognize any left mouse clicks. The Fusion mouse driver does not include this and even the current Boot-camp drivers doesn't support this in Windows. Upgraded the VMWare Tools - after the usual exasperating workarounds. Update: I was finally able to resolve both issues by selecting the VM, going into Settings, choosing Compatibility, expanding Advanced if it isn't already, selecting version 9 from the dropdown, and disabling the checkbox to upgrade. Just installed WMWare 3.0 - upgrade from 2.x. The only advice anyone at the company provides is "did you try uninstalling and reinstalling VMWare tools?" as if you're a moron that hasn't been through this every single time you've upgraded their crappy software. ![]() I hesitated on upgrading VMWare Fusion to 6 because this same kind of thing happened last time, so I believe this will be the last time I pay to upgrade VMWare. With that said, I'm not able to copy/paste or drag/drop into my VM any more, with the settings on or off. Over time while my pc is inactive but there is always a automation running on the virtual machines, the vm slow down alot to the point where the cursor looks. I have also tried default and Windows-10. Uninstalling/reinstalling VMWare tools makes no difference, regardless of what everyone keeps saying. Since upgrading to version 11.5.1: 'Mouse disappears when Windows 10 boot', only keyboard works I've tried all sort of things such as editing the vmx file or General tab all the options for the mouse for 'Never optimize mouse for games and etc.' with no luck. The only way to fix the freezing of the mouse on the actual chrome parts of the VMWare windows (not even inside the VM itself!) it is to disable the drag/drop and copy/paste functionality under Isolation in the VMWare settings. I selected 'Default Profile' and it fixed it. The problem for me was the mouse / keyboard settings under the VM itself were selected to 'mac profile'. Checked the privacy settings and VMware Fusion preferences to 'always optimize mouse for gaming' were all good. I'm having the same issue as Sven, and additionally can't drag/drop or copy/paste. I had the same issue, except my keyboard worked, but mouse didnt.
